HTW Junior Researcher Prize for Motion Analysis in Music Therapy
I've received the Junior Researcher Prize of the HTW Dresden for my research in the analysis and visualization of therapeutic effect in function-oriented music therapy. As part of my PhD project Markerless Motion Analysis in Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine I evaluate the motion data of patients with Parkinson's disease and after stroke in function-oriented music therapy (FMT) and compare them with a healthy group.
I am very happy about this award and would like to cordially thank all those involved: My PhD supervisors Prof. Markus Wacker and Prof. Bernhard Jung, Thomas Neumann, the DREMATRIX computer graphics group, the working students, the music therapists, especially Margareta Ericsson and Karina Larsson from the FMT Behandlingscenter and all patients.
