Character Modelling Workshop at HTW Dresden, 10th/11th Apr

Dear 3d artists and animators! We invite you to dive in deeper in the art of character modelling! In the course of this 2-day-workshop with Tanja Krampfert - Modeller and Character TD at Pixar - the participants will be guided through the process of modelling a previously designed character from the concept phase to the final model in the context of animation. This includes both the conception of a character design and the correkt approach and compliance of certain Do's and Don'ts during the modeling process which in turn are a prerequisite to achieve a correct deformation in character animation. When? April 10th and 11th, 1.30 to 6.30 PM Where? At HTW Dresden (University of Applied Science) Software available?Autodesk Maya, 3D Studio Max, Blender Requirements Prior knowledge in 3D modelling techniques and experience in at least of the above listed modelling tools Preparation Please bring a character draft including sketches in perspective, front and side view. Language German/English (depending on participants) Costs 15 EUR attendence fee for the complete workshop (to be paid in advance) The number of participants is limited.
