Markerless Motion Capture System at the HTW Dresden
Since end of 2009 the first German markerless motion capture system, developed by Organic Motion, has been installed at the HTW Dresden in Saxony. It is one of few systems in Europe and allows human motions to be captured in realtime without the need of suits, markers or other necessary preparations. For three years we are working closely with independent filmmakers and participants of the Exchange Forum at the Filmfest Dresden. At the Dresden’s Researchers’ Night the system is often open for visitation.
